            The Committee on the Judiciary moves to amend the bill on page two, section eleven, line twenty-eight, by striking out subdivision (7), and inserting a new subdivision (7) to read as follows:

(7) In a civil action pleading in which there are two or more named defendants, a fee of $15 for each named defendant in the action shall be paid by the plaintiff filing suit, of which fee $10 shall be deposited in the general county fund, and $5 shall be deposited in the State Police Forensic Laboratory fund: Provided, That for purposes of this subdivision, “named defendants” (i) does not include those defendants identified as “John/Jane Doe” and (ii) shall include those added as named defendants in a subsequent amended pleading.
